LT4All 2025 – 2nd International Conference on Language Technologies for All – Advancing Humanism through Language Technologies ended today in Paris.
The 3-day event, organized by ELRA and SIGUL – the ELRA/ISCA Special Interest Group on Under-resourced Languages – in partnership with UNESCO as part of the International Decade of Indigenous Languages (IDIL 2022-2032) and in celebration of the Silver Jubilee of International Mother Language Day, explored the relationships among technologies, languages and their related communities from scientific, technical, cultural, linguistic, economic, political and ethical perspectives, furthering the agenda of language technologies with a focus on community empowerment.
The event, held in a hybrid format at UNESCO Headquarters and on the Zoom platform from 24 to 26 February 2025, registered over 200 active participants including keynote, oral and poster speakers, session chairs, moderators and rapporteurs, high-level representatives, organizers, special guests and volunteers.
The event was attended by over 350 people in person (by invitation only) over the 3 days and, on average, by around 150 people per remote session (by request).
